Introducing the QTP Xternally Divorced Oxygen Housing

Quick Time Performance completes the exhaust puzzle for the Mitsubishi Evo 8/9 by introducing the Xternally Divorced O2 Housing. The XDO2! A newly designed O2 housing that separates the waste gate from the turbine. The problem with the stock designed O2 housing is the waste gate gases are slammed back into the turbo exhaust gases which Causes a buildup of pressure and slowing down the turbo wheel.

With our Xternally Divorced O2 Housing, we separate the waste gate and run the exhaust gas externally to under the car. By accomplishing this it helps the turbo from creating any extra back pressure. Less back pressure equals more power. Besides the extra power gain you also get that awesome open waste gate sound!

Any questions feel free to call us.

Looks like a nice peice! My concern is on the turbine side, it looks small compared to your competition. It seems you guys had an opposite approach, where they made the turbine exit huge and you guys focused on a huge wastegate exit....interesting, are there any dyno results?

Will this work with the APR splitter? I hope it was designed with this and others in mind. Also, I know that there is some sort of SCCA rule about not having a dump or something. Need to figure this out...

We started this project back in feb. We did all our homework on this.

We made the wastegate size large because that is where the restriction is. Not on the turbine side. No reason to make something larger and slam it back down to the factory donut gasket. That actually causes turbulance. We have a lot of data and info on creating exhaust systems, headers and downpipes. We have been making the most powerful LS1 headers for the past 7 years now. So we do have the experience.

The pipe goes right by the stock black turbo outlet pipe so the IC pipe does not make a difference. Then bends to the ground. It does not hang low just slightly below the radiator.

You remove the undertray or cutout a hole for it.

Im going to try to get some pictures up tomorrow. We are uploading our new website as i type.

I really like QTP products a lot. I have your electronic downpipe on my car now and i had a custom cutout using your y pipe and butterfly valve on my GSX, plus you guys were local to me when i used to live in jersey. I already have the EPM 02 housing on my car and if i didn't i would def. be purchasing this one. The dumptube reminds me of a dirtbike exhaust, haha, i'm assuming that was done on purpose. I am excited to see the dyno results from the product though...Good luck guys!

I have this item installed on my car and I will get some pictures and a video uploaded for you guys soon.

I'll take some shots showing ground clearance and a video under normal driving and then under WOT.

What else do you guys want to see?
