No more concerns with API imposing so many regulations causing the oils you buy at the store not having enough Zinc and Phos additives, off the shelf oils are at an average carrying only 500-800 particles per million.
But now with AMSOIL Z-Rod you can get a nice 10W30 or 20W50 oil that is loaded with zinc and phos and still has all the detergents and dipersannts needed for keeping that engine clean and free of oxydation.

need a case of oil, not sure which type to go with. Its going to be for evo ix 24k on odometer, w built head, fp 73hta turbo, and stock block. Have been using mobil 1 since it was new.
