Question ... I may be purchasing a set of KW robispec coilovers from someone who is going back to stock ... I would then need the advanced suspension service @800 to get them 'robispec' dialed in?

Absolutely, if you don't already have the other parts (sway bar and bushings). Or you can always come to us to have them just installed and aligned if you already have the others!! We also have lots of other little goodies for the car...give us a call anytime!

what's the difference between robispec KW variants clubsport and street for the X?

 

Trying to understand the question...but I think you are asking what's the difference between the Robispec Streets and Clubsports for the Evo X.

Answer: there aren't clubsports for the X yet. Currently for the EVO X, we have the Streets $2400 and the Competitions $8000.

Once the Clubsports are in production, they should be priced around $2800-2900 -- and the difference between the Clubsports and the Streets will be spring rates and valving...making them completely different in driving characteristics and a big step apart.
