Pricing info will be posted once we have more info and the wheels are nearing production

I will have wheel weights once the wheels are out of production. The 18" images are 3D renders that we just received from Rota as the wheels are nearing production. The 17x9 wheel is 18.9 lbs so I was just using that as reference, the 18" model will not be much more

All the pro JDM guys hating on the Rota's...sad. Some people need more affordable options than Volks/Works/etc especially if you have summer/winter wheel/tire combos. The fact that you idolize the Volks and others and then compare the Rota's to them in exact style means that Rota did exactly as they should; they provided a great looking wheel at a price the average consumer can afford. Take your JDM only love elsewhere!

This thread is to promote a new wheel that is being produced for car enthusiasts that is great looking and affordable. +1 for the new Rota's I'm sure they will be a hit

Copying designs is probably how Rota keeps their engineering costs down and brings out their product at very competitive prices. They are there to make money and as long as people keep buying their wheels, they can follow this business model. It's pretty tempting if you can get the same-looking wheels for less than half the price. Most people don't need forged wheels, so they're not willing to pay the premium just to get the authentic brand.

I hope the mods comes in and cleans this thread up. This not a place to argue about Rota vs volks...

At least Rotas aren't as pervasive as they are on NASIOC. It's just getting sad over there.

A business course would tell us why Rota's are far more of a good buy then Volks. If a company can create a substitute good at a cheaper price the market will respond and the product will sell. Especially in a recession. Why would I buy Rotas for twice as much when Rota can give me a product that accomplishes what I want (looks and reasonable price)?

For example, for super bowl sunday I could go "JDM" and buy a 60" Sony Bravia and have a sweet sweet TV, but why do that when I can get a 60" Insignia for half that still let's me enjoy the Super Bowl as much as the Sony does?

The Demand for Rota to make these wheels is there, and the market will meet that demand.

I'll buy Rotas. I don't care about all the fanboy crap going on. To each their own.

I'll agree to disagree. Enjoy your name brands guys. I'll stay in Old Navy, Target, Walmart, and anywhere else that I can find a cotton shirt at a decent price. You can go to Hollister, American Eagle, and Versace. In the end they're all cotton shirts made in some sweat shop in Guatemala.

i've had volks and rotas and i like both compaines

but i will say this, rotas are made in the philippines and like most things made in the philippines they are copies or remakes (for example almost every filipino musican has remade or sung a hit song from either madonna, mariah carey, and the list goes on)

no offense to anyone who is filipino cause i am filipino

just wanted to state the obvious haha
