As Mike said, all Garrett cores and this core is actually rated at 950 hp from Garrett. My belief is it will work for even more whp than Mike is giving it credit for

Thanks for getting these out there, we will start building more!
Well being in FL i like to underrate them a little bit i guess.. Just gives a little more room to play when you have a little Extra FMIC..

would the BFIC be overkill for a FP Red or for that matter a stock turbo?

Does this fit without cutting the undertray or bumper support and does it require trimming of the bumbper screens on Evo IX's?

I have the 4" race core and I didnt have to trim anything on my 9 bumper, but if you want to run your crash bar you'll either have to cut alil of it or take a hammer to it

Yes I am pretty sure yoru right.. the intercooler that required trimming of undertray was the deluxe for the back door piping.. the 3.5" will bolt up no issues..

How does the deluxe compare to these? I currently have the deluxe, would it be worth upgrading to one of these ; or is it the same as the street version?

Im going to say its close but obviosuly not the same.. Its a little bit larger core but doesnt feed back door style like the deluxe.. You can probably stick to the deluxe honestly..

Good Info.. thanks Dave.. So this 3.5" is rated at 950whp.. It could very well be a decent upgrade from deluxe depending on power level..
