Yes that is what Precision said. They said the 5857 was a better designed wheel so I guess they didn't figure they needed both. When I asked about them they said the 5857 was rated at 60.5 lb/min and the 6057 was 63 lb/min but honestly I don't know how they even come up with that number when they dont have compressor maps.

Oh, I bit the bullet and got tired of waiting for someone to show any results from one of these and just ordered one today also. Anyone heard anything more from ForceFed that was supposed to have some super setup car running this turbo?

there's a difference between not having and being unwilling to distribute.

I guess, but I don't know why they would keep the map a secret, what is the point in that? Isn't that an aid for people to determine what turbo they need for their specific needs?

Mike can you please provide updates? I'm Looking 650-700hp What do you recommend? I don't want to go 6262. I think it is to laggy for my taste.

they dont have a map because it doesnt exist. its very expensive to map a compressor so most niche turbo's are never done.

The PT5857 is designed to max out around the 600hp range (35R) If your looking to go with something in the 650-700hp range, your best bet is going to be the PT6262, HTA3586 or my fav. the PT6235 (Billet 62mm Comp Wheel with Garrett 35R Turbine Wheel and Center Section - This also allows for a Garrett twin scroll housing since it uses the 35R Turbine wheel.)

Good Luck!

Michael, What is the spool of the PT6235 compared to a 3586? I think a FP Black on my 2.4 could get me 650hp however I think a larger frame turbo would be better in the long run... End goal is to have 650hp and be able to pull to 8k without a drop in my powerband. I know a 3586 and a 6262 can do that but I think a TS 3586 1.06a/r may still drop off up top. Would a TS 6235 1.06a/r pull out the top better than a 3586?

5857 can make 650 I believe but 700 I dont think so.. Its more or less rated at 600-650whp.. If you need more there is no choice but to move up in Compressor size to 6262..
