Air cooled?! Thats pretty awesome! The billet 5857 is awesome already, I saw the dyno on a 2.3 Evo already and it would be a perfect street setup. Interested to see how the new cartridges do, maybe get one for myself to try out.

This turbo might just be what I'm looking for i'm currently running a 6162 and I was looking for a turbo to come out with better spool with some good top end as I find the PT61 to be sumwhat laggy on the street this could be the answer would love to see how it performs.

How is this turbo with surging? I know evo's generally don't like 57 and 58 mm turbos. I ran the ets 58mm kit and it surged so bad I sold the turbo immediately and ordered the 6262. That's the only thing I would be afraid of with this set up.

Several people on this forum have had issues with that size turbo. My kit was identical to my buddies 61mm pt ets kit and he had zero issues. When Ivey tuned my car he told me flat out 57 and 58 mm turbos don't work on evo's due to the amount of air and spool up of the turbo into the head. He could not tune my car on anything higher than 23 psi on 93 octane with out unbearable surge from 5000 to 5500 rpm range. Wil l the cover on this turbo help combat that?
