NEW RELEASE!! Precision Turbo Billet 5857 Turbo w/ PTE Cartridge!!!!
#346
We should have no kidding numbers soon. I have already seen 93oct @26-28psi solid on mustang dyno with a 5857 PTE build, right around 490whp/430tq. I am doing the same build with my car, but adding a DI intake mani, boomba 75mm TB, larger cams, lil more aggressive tune. doing 93oct first, then e85. Hopefully everything goes in by next week, I just had surgery, so I cant say for sure.. but won't keep you guys hanging much longer..

Thought some of you might be interested in this, first post and last page have overlay dyno results. Garrett GT 3582r, 3076r,HTA and now PTE5857 Comparison
Please note this on an Audi I5 20v 2.3L,however the dyno results are quite impressive. I'm considering a 5857 over a GT 35r now as a replacement for my over worked 3076r.
Make sure and check out the link in the first post for some more of the dyno sheets.

Interesting testing as i have found on the 2.0L the 5857 doesnt even come close to HTA35r.. We made 750hp on HTA35r yet 5857 was dying at 650hp.. The 6262 made a best of 780 for and its 3mm larger than 3582 and we didnt put the 3582 on kill.. We had it just over 40 and the 6262 was on 49psi to make 780hp.. Seems to be much different then your results.. I have never used a 30r before to compare.. never likes that turbo for an evo.. The stock frame turbos have always proven to kill the 30r..

Well,it's not my testing but I found it interesting reading and after reading through 24 pages on this forum trying decide what to replace my 3076 with just thought I'd join and post up charts others had done.

24 pages and still have almost no expectations. Does anybody actually have tried and true, real world results? I'm throwing a 5857 on to replace my bbk full w/ fp 84mm comp cover. The motor is an ER built 2.3 w/ gsc S2s, eta 3.5" intercooler, fic 850s. I'm also putting on a curt brown intake mani and full blown 70mm tb at the same time. There is an r35 gtr in town and I want to put an end to the gtr>evo discussion. @R/Ternie- College degree and carguy go hand in hand. Especially when you pursue an automotive technology degree because of your love of all things Evo. ; )
