Yeah he means in 6th gear on Halloween nite when the Moon is in its Autumn solstice and with a correction factor of 1.9

Turbo sounds sick. Whenever I decide to get rid of the Red, Ive got my eye on this puppy. By the way your D2 shocks worked wonders, check my thread

That is terrific spool if on a 2l regardless of 3rd or 4th gear. A 3582R makes 30 psi around 5200 rpm in 4th gear on a 2l.

Yes the spool as I anticipated would kill the 35r.. The 35r is a 68mm turbine wheel.. IMO an oversized wheel for the compressor size on a 2.0L.. The 6057 uses a 57mm rear wheel.. it MUST spool quicker..

I am interested to see how the 6057 and the 5857 perform in journal bearing configurations. I have to be honest these turbos are offered at a fantastic price in the journal bearing veriety. I have read talk of the 6057 being able to support 700 hp, if this is the case and the journal bearing offering spools as well as it appears I dont think there is a better option doller vs. performance available. I have spent my money on Ball bearing turbos (gt42r gt35r fp3065 gt3076r) and flat out refuse to spend that much again on my daily driver. You have my undivided attention Mike thank you for posting what information you can when its available to you.

This is why i took the time to do a journal bearing turbo test.. I dont believe the spool to be far off BB.. Ill have more data soon for the 6057.. The 5857 will be similar in Power and close to the same spool being 57mm rears...

I am in the same boat. I can decide between the 2 turbo's. But I have til tax season to make up my mind.

Also waiting to see when they are going to allow evo 9 upgrades for the black. As of right now they don't. Because I do have a evo 9 turbo sitting off to the side wanting to be sent to FP. I know this because it talks to me

I was torn between the 6057 and 5857 but went with the 5857 for my TT. Should make for a great street turbo.

Anyone else notice a high difference in ratings from sites?

5857 - 500hp (treadstone), 605hp (extremepsi), and 615hp (ETS turbo)
6057 - 550hp (treadstone), 630hp (extremepsi), and 630hp (ETS Turbo)

Wonder who has the real rating....
