We also will be offering a DIY "trim to fit kit: upper panel, these will not have the scoop of MAF holes.
This lower panel is also a DIY " trim to fit kit" since there are so many variations of LICP and intake tubes, and will be available for those who wish to seal off the Heat Block to the frame rail.

I'm working on the final version of the MAF mount this weekend and will post picts asap.
Pricing is up, and C/F components can be ordered at 9sec9.com.
Thanks for the interest in our components. For these and more visit 9sec9.com .

This weekend I'm working on a couple of things for a Top Fuel team, but as soon as I get a chance I will shoot some.

CWill is sending an Evo 8 bumper cover to me next week. We will start on some "Shutters" to cover the side ducts, and the slots above the intercooler for that model as soon as it arrives. The cost should be similar to the Evo 9.

9sec9 and I will be testing a couple of new aero bits, if everything goes well we will offer those after the first of the year. Thanks, Indy

Awesome products - nice job Jim & Tom!

A couple of questions:

(1) I am running the Perrin filter, vibrant adapter, Injen intake, and Injen UICP with the large (stock) battery. Do you think your standard Intake Heat Shield will work or will I need to go the DIY route?

(2) For the DIY route, how do you recommend cutting the CF (so that it is super clean and does not crack) ?

I do not know if it will fit the Ingen intake, but the tool is scribed with the stock location for thr air snorkel and MAF.

A Roto Zip bit in a Dremel will cut it. Shape it with 100 grit, then 240 wet to finish it and break the sharp edges.

UPDATE: The Evo 8 front "Shutters" will be available in late December to early January. CWill from ASAP Performance has sent a front bumper skin for me to use as a mock up. These will produced along with a center "Shutter" to give the Evo 8 guys the same high quality aero components that the Evo 9 guys have had since 2006.

Indy, I saw the DIY heat shields on your site...quick question...The DIY shields don't have the maf pipe half circle or the stock airbox snorkle hole cut into them, correct? What would be the price difference if i had you cut the half circle out of the heat shield for the maf pipe??

Indy, do you have any photos of the mini battery heat block installed? I've very curious to see it.

Assuming the car has a 100% completely stock intake setup with a MAF filter adapater and cone filter: Will the lower heat block work without the need for trimming? I'd love to get both pieces to further increase the functionality. I'd even add some gold reflective tape to increase it's effectiveness.

Please advise! Thanks!
