CBRD- Business Changes and News...
Coming close to the end of 2009, I must say it's been an interesting and fun year...
Not more than about 12 months ago we released our BBK turbo for the stock housing turbo market and it's been a huge success.... consistent performance, good product delivery times, and reliability have proven that when we put our mind and heart into something we are able to provide a solid product.
Not everything has been successful though for CBRD in the past year or so... for instance our Time Attack car... we've been very limited to the time we have had to finish and run it.. and that has since put us behind the 8 ball.... That will change in 2010...
We have a new list of sponsors for the car.. it's being lightened, power enhanced.. suspension work and partnerships are changing.. and we will be doing more R&D with it for our own product lines.... The one thing that remains the same is our backing from our good friends at ADVAN yokohama..
The other things we've added through 2009 were our CBRD 3.8" FMIC... CBRD lower intercooler pipe... various radiator designs... and of course.. our Mystery BOXES!!!! what a hit they are.. and man do we have fun filling them up
We also have our BB-X turbo for the evo X released and they will be shipping just after the new year... (you could consider this 2010 news hee he)
The other things we've accomplished in 2009 is our GTR product line.... with our CBRD Y pipes.. CBRD Radiator (now being used by our good friends at AMS).. CBRD GTR Intercoolers.... and we are working on downpipes....
so... what are some of the other things going into 2010 that are changing....
First off being our personnel. Caleb, our sales director for the dealership and close friend, is no longer with us full time... He will be working with us on website development, promotional aspects and on our events (such as dyno days etc)... but he will no longer be the face of the person you see when you walk in the door. I know that is dissapointing to many, but he will still be around and it's a change that heads us down a direction for the future of CBRD that we've been planning for a long time....and you never know, he may be back one day...
We have realized what the community really asks for of us is specialized parts.. such as the radiators... intercoolers... etc.... And we really want to continue moving forward and engineering products like that, because it is what we enjoy....
So the scope of CBRD will change... the brand will remain... and our passion for excellence will continue to grow.... So we will be doing more in-house development and adding some capabilities that we did not have before.....
We still need to address our shortcomings... the biggest one being our customer follow-up.... That has generally been MY fault in the past, and I'm working hard to correct this... as each and everyone of you out there are important to us....
I hope we continue with the following that we have and the family and friends that we've gained through this venture I started many years ago.... and that has grown from a hobby..into my professional racing career and into what CBRD has become today...
So... just a note.. Happy Holidays...... and we can't wait to start fresh for 2010..

Had alot of fun this year with you guys. The trip to Petit Le Mans was awesome.
