helps to live in same state as the builder as well LOL.

Got mine yesterday........ deyam. Wonder if I should get it coated.

yes sir coat it if your going to do it do it then. LOL i did not wan to coat my parts but carlos is offering me a good price and might as well help keep temps down and maybe gain like 5 more hp from coating mona hotside of black and my ebay ported ss o2.

There seems to be a relatively deep groove between the two openings on the turbo side, I assume this isn't a big deal?

You don't even want to know. All of a sudden (after sending the money), I haven't heard back from the guy after getting a case of the "I don't know how to ship a block...I'll have to see if I can build a crate" syndrome.

I am and im sure others are referring to ceramic coating the manifold to preserve the look. i might gain what 4-5whp by doing this lol.

It's not powder coating, it's a ceramic coating. In a car that is being raced, it can help keep engine bays a little cooler. In a street driven application there isn't a ton of benefit, other than it does keep the part looking a lot nicer. I'll probably have mine done, mainly for looks. I'd like to see a couple of these coated first though.

Powerdercoating helps keep temps down... Personally I don't believe in doing so, I rather spend $150 elsewhere.
