Just curious...which one of these turbos is on your shop car? And how much power is each one rated for?

Awesome looking kit. I'm liking it more and more everytime I read this thread

What numbers would you guys expect this thing to put down on a car with E85 and say 35+psi?

With the stock head and possibly drop ins? Just curious...could be my next step

Update and some answers to questions.

The downpipe and turbine housing are completely wrapped with DEI's titanium blankets, the downpipe wrap is exclusive for Buschur Racing as it was my idea. Those two parts appear to have controlled heat extremely well. The header has been through some good testing now but yesterday after two hours of beating on the dyno I found it is getting too hot too with the black crap on the firewall. Take into consideration I had the header so hot that the ceramic coating was glowing red, I wish I had a video camera! Today first thing I came in and built a stainless steel heat shield that will go between the header and the firewall area to take care of that heat too. This will be included in the kits, kit pricing will not change. I'll post pics of it next week, they are being lazer cut now.

My car is running the Blouch GT600r, it's a 62mm/35r turbo. The FPHTA86 is also a 62mm/35r based turbo so I'd expect about the same spool up from it and the HTA82 should be even faster, I'd expect 20 psi in the upper 3,000 rpm range.

murlo, sorry missed your questions. I'd expect the stock engine/head to make the same power I am making, many people have made big numbers on the stock block/stock head combo. The reason for doing a block/head is assurance it is not going to break, mine needed freshened anyway.

To run E85 you are going to need ID2000's and our double pumper. I am at 95% duty cycle right now on pump gas, ID1000's and our double pumper. At 35 psi on E85 I'd guess my combination would make close to 600 on our dyno.

The 527 number it put down is on par with some of the best EVO8-9's I've built on pump gas and those have gone mid 10's at 135 mph.

I'm looking forward to getting this to the track and seeing what it will run, if feels very-very quick/fast.

Damn, 600 on e85 on your dyno is no joke.

Working on my suspension now...so when i get bored with power I will look into this kit strongly.

Thanks for the info David.

David, have you checked and seen if the stock strut bar fits still?

Thanks!

I tried to find a bar today, I can't find one. After looking closer I think it will fit I just have to turn the tbolt clamps around.

The car is running now. Do you mean when am I racing it? Not sure, first good opportunity. I am out of injector now, so no E85 on this current set up, I haven't given that part of the build any thought.

I want to run the car like it is on pump gas, should be good for some mid 10's. If so that may be all the further it goes. It's become very obvious building the quickest/fastest drag car does little for sales, so that's not my goal.

Wow, looks great! The numbers are no joke either!
Is that a carbon airbox around the air filter? Is that your part as well David?

Yes, it's carbon, we use to offer those but had a falling out with the supplier and the cost was extremely high, we now offer the same part in powder coated aluminum.

Heat control.........it's a real tough job on the EVOX. We've added the full BR exclusive DEI downpipe blanket, T3 turbine housing blanket and now I've built a new SS shield for between the header and firewall insulation.

Here are some pictures of it. This will come standard with all the turbo kits, there is no increase in the kit pricing.
