Buschur Racing EVOX T3 turbo kit RELEASED!!

We have our turbo kits finished in production and ready for release.

The T3 turbo kit for the EVO X will be offered in a few different levels. The kit will be available by itself as a hot parts kit and then you will be able to chose whether or not you order a wastegate a few different options for turbos.

The base kit comes with the following:

Buschur Racing ceramic coated T3 header, flanges, collector and tubing are all built from thick walled 304 grade stainless steel and TIG welded here in house.
Mandrel bent one piece, 304 grade SS dump tube for the wastegate
Mandrel bent one piece, 304 grade SS MAF/Turbo inlet pipe, with BOV return and crank case vent
Mandrel bent one piece, 304 grade SS downpipe, downpipe uses V-band inlet only for all turbo options
-4 braided SS oil feed line
Oil return line
Water feed lines
Turbo outlet elbow with boost source fitting
All required couplings and clamps
Downpipe bolts and gasket for cat/offroad pipe connection
DEI T3 turbo blanket
Buschur Racing/DEI downpipe blanket (available exclusively from Buschur Racing)

Optional:

Tial 44 mm wastegate

Optional:

Blouch GT600r turbo
Forced Performance HTA3582, HTA3586
PTE 6262

There are of course many other turbo options that can be used but we have listed the most common/popular ones.

Our shop car on a very conservative initial tune put down 515 whp and 385 ft lbs at 29 psi on straight 93 octane. The design of the kit makes installation very easy and after the stock turbo has been removed it can be installed in less than 2 hours by anyone. We have done it in 1 hour.

The design of the header and kit has also shown extremely good spool up characteristics with a 62mm 35r based turbo in a .82 a/r making 20 psi at only 4400 rpm!!

Here are some pictures:

Those headers do indeed look very easy to access all the mounting nuts and the kit looks top notch. If I were to start over again this kit would definitely be up there on kits to go with!

Great job as always David!

Any wastegate re-circ options for old people who don't want to hear the wastegate dump to atmosphere?

That's what, 300whp and 150wtq over a stock Evo X on your dyno? Those are impressive gains on a conservative tune.

The BOV is in the same location we have it on the stock replacement MAF pipe we sell. It keeps the turbulance down near the MAF like this so the idle and drivability are better.

No option for recirculation on this kit or any of our other kits. We build for maximum power, it only makes noise over 15 psi, if you're over 15 psi you can stand a little noise

Stock EVO X on our dyno I think makes about 220'ish. So yes, right about 300 whp over stock.

I also wanted to say if someone is running our entire kit, same injectors and our double pumper I can supply a stock ECU tune for you, no charge that will get you very-very close to a perfect tune and this level. This is only available if the set up is the same as this though.

All GT kits with Tial EWG should sport a Tial BOV IMO. The kit looks great and the down pipe blanket looks cozy!!

Yeah, mine made ~220 w/ bolt ons (pre tune) on your dyno; it's a heart breaker

I got the car back on the dyno today for a few hours actually. I put a good beating on it. It's amazing how consistent it is, I don't know if I've ever been able to run a car on the dyno back to back to back to back as many times as I did today with the same results over and over.

Best numbers today were 527 whp and 396 ft lbs on 93 octane, peak boost was 29 psi.

Here is what is impressive. After working the tune more I was able to get the car to hit 20 psi of boost in 4th gear at 4059 rpm!! That is just absolutely insane, that is insane for a twin scroll or any tight A/R housing, in this case it's a T3 single scroll with an .82 turbine housing!

Nice to see a vendor that really stepped up with addressing the heat issues back there behind the motor.

People will really appreciate the fact that it's sold only with the heat shields/blankets, with very little fresh air back there it gets HOT, very responsible of you guys! Some road race people will appreciate this feature down the road.

Thanks Scorke but the heat issues aren't all covered even yet. We will be releasing yet another shield or blanket for the header next week. The heat is absolutely rediculous and there is no way I can risk someone having a problem.
