Turbo has been on the car for a few weeks now , chasing actuator issues, and had to wait on my synapse to arrive,
It seems that no matter what if i post my findings and keep you guys up to date or, i dont post i catch flack .

It has made 46xWHP on 93 octane on my bolt on car , you all will have to be patient. I will have a full review and dyno graphs through VD as soon as everything is ready.

I understand, my friend as a plan is only a plan until initial contact with the enemy. 46x on 93/pump is impressive. Standing by...

Where are these turbo's built again? The pictures of the turbine housing and turbine wheel look exactly like the turbo I just bought from Komak Dynamics.

Good job to MAP for bringing more options to the public. Looking good so far.

Yea, but I highly dought they are casting turbine housings in house.

Chris, can you verify if the MAP turbo's are built with Komak turbine housings and turbine wheels?

For the sake of a competitive advantage I'm afraid I won't be able to reveal any of our resources utilized to make this program happen, but you are right we are not a foundry. The compressor housings, turbine housings, turbine wheels, and bearing cartridges are manufactured specifically for us all across the globe.

Thanks for the honesty! I'm saving up for an EF3 myself. I cannot wait to see some more results posted.

It is a beta testing program...

I am sure that once the intial real world tests/feed back comes in the final product will be marketed, when its ready, not the beta version...

So, what kind of oil is recommended for the EF3? Is it the same recommendations as FP's turbos? Or can it be run with the mobil one 5w30 HM (900 zinc, 1000 phos)?

FP went to great lengths in their oil testing and their results were pretty convincing, in addition to that they don't stand to gain anything (other than fewer warranty claims) by pointing their customers into one oil over another. With that being said, I would heed their warning with any stock frame turbocharger and run a high zinc/phos racing oil to protect your investment.
