That makes sense. The whole reason why carbon parts are good for aero and powertrain components is because of its strength, yet flexibility. The latter I would guess is not as high as steels and certainly not titaniums.
Not sure if you saw, but the precision is:
standard: X-/Y-axis +/- 0.2mm; Z-axis +/- 0.17mm/m

That's about .008" in X axis... .008 in the Y axis... and .007 in Z axis. The vector that these make is... .013" in error. Which is +/- .013"
Janicki is below +/- .002"
That's pretty close to an order of magnitude lol.
