HG Motorsports

HG Motorsports was started in 2004 by Dieter-Heinz Kijora as a time trial racing team. HGMS built a full track 2003 Mitsubishi Evolution 8 with the help of Randy Sedano at Ball Mitsubishi, RobiSpec and Buschur Racing. Dieter pushed the limits of his Evo with great results gaining him multiple NASA Time Trial and Time Attack Championships. Throughout the racing season, Dieter teamed up with Chris Frick, who had been a race car technician for several racing teams.

In 2008, HGMS teamed up with Charlie and the MFQ team to grab hold of a few more time trial championships. After one of the popular time attack series went under, HGMS took a break for a few years.

In 2011, it became evident that there was a lack of professional and skilled performance tuning shops in San Diego which urged Dieter and Chris to offer a solution. Dieter, being a third generation to the Heinz Gietz Autohaus Mercedes-Benz Dealership, has had over 10 years of experience in the european car market. Chris has over 7 years of experience in the performance tuning world with various race teams, and performance tuning outlets. In June of 2011, HG Motorsports was reborn and has quickly expanded.

In June of 2012, HGMS will be moving to a larger location in Sorrento Valley and we want to extend our services to the Evolution community. This new facility will be equipped with an AWD Dyno Dynamics Dyno which will be operated by 2 very experienced tuners, Bill Knose and Alain Alba, with 16 years of combined experience. HGMS has the ability to perform custom dyno tuning to any Import and European sports cars and offer full race car preperation and track side support.
