I dropped this price to $150. Since my last post, I modded about 12 more covers.

Is this the original fitting?

https://www.summitracing.com/parts/sum-221102/overview/

5/8" or -10an

Here's one that looks to be slightly larger:

3/4 " or -12an

5/8 should be plenty.

Also local hardware stores have npt to barb fittings or flare/an fittings.

Any fitting can work. Just have the correct drill and tap stuff.

I have done this mod with a JDM evo 6 valve cover running the evo 7 pcv with grommet. I have been told by multiple people that I need to run a catch can because oil is being sucked into my intake plenum and piping. During hard pulls I do get some "residue" coming out of that hole because I can see it spraying on my fuse box. When I take off my IC piping and intake pipe, there is nothing in there. It's all clear and free. I have an FP zero and I do not smoke at idle, during pulls, nor do lose any oil. I have maybe 1200 miles on my built 2.4. Is this normal or should I just run a catch can to both sides of the valve cover?

This guy does not answer posts, or return calls. I text him trying to offer him the business of doing my PCV and he ignored me. I ended up doing it myself.

TSComp hasn't been a player in the game for yeeeaaars. He kinda shot himself in the foot with his pricing and lack of customer service.
I'm sure he's doing fine, though, as he really seemed to not need the business, based on
how he had no cares who he pissed off.

I'll just thread jack a little bit here. Any experience just doing this to the rear port? The sizing is better and doesn't need to be drilled out to fit 5/8" O.D. at least. But I've seen some people say they get excessive oil coming out that side.

I don't think it would work due to the check valve that needs to be in place.
