Never say never!

We put a lot of thought into this product and were able to design real engineering marvel. You can replace stock TB on stock manifold with our design. We always design products that can be as versatile as possible. We believe that if you spent money on TB it should be usable for many different set ups (stock or aftermarket intake manifolds).
Our TB out of the box can be installed on the stock manifold with stock air inlet. It comes supplied with adaptor from Mustang 5.0 bolt pattern to Evo manifold bolt pattern. It also comes with interchangeable, bolt on inlet adaptor for stock and 75mm (3") pipes.

75mm TB out of the box

Our inlet and intake manifold adaptors allow installation of TB on stock intake.

Stock adaptors

We also have special adaptor (not included with TB) that allows mounting our TB on aftermarket manifolds with Evo stock bolt pattern. This adaptor has 75 mm hole straight through. If you have aftermarket manifold with Mustang 5.0 pattern our TB bolts directly to it.

Straight adaptor

Stock and 75mm through adaptors side by side.

We also went one step further and offer optional, bolt on idle motor housing that allows use of our throttle body on eclipse engines (Evo TPS has to be used)

I have a stock IM ported out to 68mm with a Skunk2 68mm TB (nothing is installed yet).....what r my options and how big is the stock IM's inlet? I wouldn't want to have a large inlet TB only to neck down w/an adapter and then have a ported IM...thx

I posted up on strictlymodified's thread about the Boomba TB. I used to have one as well as a few of my friends on our srt4's. The billet 75mm TB looks, performs, fits flawlessly and they are still running it on their cars after 10's of thousands of miles w/NO leaks. We have boost leak tested our cars up to 28psi and the TB is leak free.

I would love to buy one, but like I posted up in the other thread, I have a brand new Skunk2 68mm TB which my stock IM plenum was port matched to the Skunk2.

If I wanted to run the Boomba TB w/my stock ported IM what r my options to avoid any restricitons from the inlet of the TB to the IM itself? (not including the 75mm TB opening itself)

With our TB we supply adaptor that tapers from 75 mm to 60 mm. Inlet on stock IM is 60 mm and there is not much wall thickness left to make it larger. Is inlet on your manifold ported also?

Many, if not most of the people that buy an aftermarket throttle body for an Evo will have their intake manifold ported to 65mm. It would be nice if you offered an adaptor that tapers from 75mm to 65mm.

my inlet to my IM is a tad over 67mm which is pretty much matched to the 68mm opening of my Skunk2 TB...I too think you guys need to make another adapter for at least a 65mm IM inlet to match a nicely ported Stock Intake Manifold

By stock idle control, you mean being able to plug the IAC into this correct, which the BBK's did not allow?
