Is the whine pretty much a 100% guarantee without buying extra parts?

From what I can gather, it's only experienced by some people.

Just get a piece of dynamat about 10"x 10"(most car audio places will have some extra laying around) and use the strut tower tower bracket as a templete and cut it about 1/4" smaller(when you blot down the bracket it squishes the dynamat ) and but it under the bracket.. Some people put it on top of the bracket but on my td I put it on the underside of the bracket...You can also put it around the strut tower area and that will help also..

I will try to find some pics and post them 4 u..

Question

This is probably a stupid question but I see all the ads saying it'll work for 03-05. Nothing has changed in this respect for an 06 correct? I don't want to order it then find out there isn't a mounting hole for it or a change in something that would stop me from being able to put this on my 06.

Finally installed my ETD today. Took about 15-20 minutes total and no headaches. I set mine to ~14mm. The feel seems much better even with the soft setting. A lot less engine movement when the throttle is pressed and released. Shift feel is much better now as well.

The only thing is that the engine noise level seems to have gone up quite a bit with it. Maybe I'll get used to it!
