What are the recommendations for an otherwise stock engine/tranny mount hardware installation? Should motor mounts/inserts be done AS WELL?
If we do nothing but the dampener are we putting more stress in other areas such as stock mounts or other bushings anywhere? I suspect we can't just stiffen up one spot without altering how loads and stresses are distributed elsewhere in the driveline/mount geometry... ?

For the best effect, we recommend motor mount inserts as well as a dampener. It makes the job of the dampener easier and distributes the load more evenly across the engine, instead of being loose and biased to one side.
Hope that helps,

I just added the suspension today, I plan to add many parts over the coming months. I can get the motor mount inserts for the evo. Call me and I can take care of you, or give me a day or two and I will get them listed on the site.

We've been selling the torque dampener's in other markets all year, we just entered the evo market. Give us some time and we will have lots available. I promise I will get the motor mount inserts and maseter bushing sets on the site tomorrow (monday).

Is this actually an oil-filled dampner, or does it just have an internal metallic or elastomer spring? I remember when the Weapon-R "dampner" came out people bashed it because it was not a true dampner, it just put spring tension on the engine. It's a great looking piece! Just trying to get as much info before I buy. Thanks!

They didn't touch the cam cover during R&D.... but I would imagine so... sure looks like it would have to be removed.
