How well just depends on what stiffness you set the etd on...IMO med for daily driving and hard for weekend racing is the best setup... I will try to post some video of the b4 and after of the stiffy when I get a chance.

Ok, got mine intalled tonight after tying up a project at work. The adjustability range on this thing is from 10mm, hardest setting, to 15mm, softest setting. I am currently running at 12mm and the car just feels amazing. Keep in mind that my car does have 66k miles on it so the motor mounts are probably a little more worn than most. With that being said this is now on my list of recommended drivability mods, right up there with metal shifter bushings. With this combination you really do get a very precise amount of feedback from the car. Shifting has improved in every way possible. You can truly feel the engine putting down power to the ground faster now that kinetic energy isn't being wasted from the engine torquing up in the mounts. I have noticed a bit of resonance now being directed into the interior of the vehicle although it is nothing big at all. I will trying adjusting the dampener to 13mm tomorrow to see if I can't find the sweet spot.

Edit: Oh and drive train lash is probably 9/10ths gone at lower parking lot like speeds.

looks like a nice piece great alternative, but a little on the pricy side right?

How about the weapon R engine damper, this no good?

I'd have to agree with Mitsuorder. I installed my ETD tonight and shifting through each gear is VERY precise. I also have mine at 12mm and I feel vibration through the steering wheel but I don't mind at all. Maybe 13mm or 14mm won't make the vibration so pronounced.

From what I've felt so far, the "Stiffy" is definitely worth it.

Keep us posted - really want to hear how it lasts/wears. Those old motor mounts, it sounds like (I have 46K miles myself), are recommended to be replaced/have inserts.

Again - thanks for the info and keep us posted!

Pricey? 167.50$?

Weapon-R does not even begin to compete with the Ingalls dampener, the brackets on the ingalls stuff will NOT break, if they do we will replace them. Search for the Weapon-R and read about all the brackets broken. Not to mention Weapon-R is about on par with say APC or Fuzion for quality and brand recognition.

Im glad the rest of your are loving the parts. I only sell stuff I know works.

Thanks guys!

Seriously I don't even want to think of the size of the brake they used to bend these brackets. I will get a measurement of the gauge steel used for them today at work.

A little dynamat around the strut tower does wonders to take up the vibrations...

I assume he means installing it under the brackets and directly on the strut tower surface.
