Yeah, me, too, but that will be years. These guys already had racing licenses and one were competing with other cars. CJ has a GVR-4 that he races in ITE, but now they are doing T2 with the Evos and are both sponsored by AMS. Marty has already gotten his national license and is finishing top 3. I think he just finished 2nd at Lime Rock last weekend - he's getting good and still has stock suspension. I can't stand hearing him talk about that stuff - REAL RACING, aghhh.

I hear ya I would love to go real racing. Autocrossing is fun but, it comes nowhere near comparing to actual racing on a dedicated race course.
I've been looking for a very used or wrecked Evolution to turn into a racer but, they aren't that easy to come by. I've found a few but, they've been to badly damaged to fix and race with.
I have my amateur license through NASA and SCCA but, I don't have a car to race I got the license while using a Phoenix Performance car but, since I don't have a dedicate race car the license is kind of useless.
Its frustrating going to track days and lapping the field twice and even three times I'd rather be racing wheel to wheel with drivers of the same and better skill level but, I guess for now I will just have to get my kicks on at track days, Time Attacks and autocrosses.
If you get the chance, you should run the Shenadoah course at Summitt Point. It is awesome

I'm in CO, so not much chance of every going back to Summit, but I did enjoy the Main circuit (was my first time).

Still thinking how cool it is to have Paul pick you up and take you to the track for a day of testing - wait until your car is up and running again Bound to get cooler
