It does help clear things up, but understand, I'm not trying to single you out. I tried to generalize the information for everyone and add whatever appropriate disclaimers I can to absolve us of responsibility as there is bound to be someone who will not fully understand all of these implications as we (us in this discussion) do.
I really appreciate everyone's recommendations for the ducting as well. I have not looked at (nor found for that matter) these companies specifically, but they present good options that I will discuss with the powers that be before commiting to a specific kind.
These are exactly the types of requirements that we are stipulating for the ducting, however. I have just not had much luck finding it cost effectively until now. Thanks again!
For what it's worth, I will try my best to see what we can do regarding some type of mount or inlet for the ducting, but I hope everyone appreciates that I want this kit to be able to accomodate anyone's front bumper whether it be factory or aftermarket, so I want all of the components to be as universal as possible.

Understood Mike. The fan thing is just something I'd like to try, but it will be removable if all else fails. I'd never hold anyone else responsible for my own tinkering.
The more you speak of the inlet and attempting to make it work across all front bumpers, the more it sounds like a NACA duct in the undertray pulling air from underneath the car would be ideal. Plus it would keep much of the debris/water from ever entering the ducting.

my personal opinion is i can pay more to get the good stuff once and not have to worry about relaibility.
or wait and pay even more when the cheap stuff breaks, as im shure i cant get my 4-8 feet as cheap per foot as Forge would buying in bulk, not to mention i would have paid for hose twice

As a matter of convenience, the first production run of kits will use ducting sourced in the UK from a well and long established ducting manufacturer (I still need to get their details however). I don't have specifics to provide at this time other than the following:
Temp. rated to over 450 degrees
Twin ply but not fused to maintain flexibility
Helical wound galvanized steel coil
Red Oxide (orange color)
Following that, we will likely be sourcing the ducting domestically. Not sure from where yet, though.
The first production run should be nearing completion about now though. I've let it be to allow the UK to work on this without interuption from my constant pestering. I'll check on things tomorrow, though!

Now that I'm back in town...... (although today is my birthday)......
......I'm not sure on the production of the units. I've been away for about a week, but I just sent an e-mail to the UK for some clarification on things.
I'll let you know what happens.
