Actually it's a Mustang dyno they used, and if it was accurate, it would be making much more than 412 crank hp, but I don't know it could be reading pretty high.

Warrtalon there you go again with your stupid assumptions on my thread.
Somewhere in here before you proclaim one dyno molested and one not there has to be some sort of test between the two.
Do you know for a fact that the one I use has been molested? What are you using to judge this?
Man you are something else.

All dynos can be manipulated, even the simplest dynojets. I'm interested to know what a stock IX dynos on that MD SeanI.

Before and after numbers = end of discussion.

Great example of dynos are for tuning only is you're car!! You put down 400awhp and trapped 115-116, right? They had a car dyno at Buschur's 290awhp and trapped 117mph, so again who cares what the stupid dyno says.

The change is what I am more concerned about, it's a tuning tool.

Ok, Sean. I said multiple times that the only important factor in this case is the increase in power after the tune. I guess the fact that I stressed that more than once was forgotten or ignored. If you and others think this MD reads like normal, which would mean this car can put down 390-400whp on a Dynojet, then so be it. Why should I try to protect people from unreasonable claims and unreasonable expectations when they do similar mods? Carry on with the Mustang Dyno claims everyone!

And for the record, we've already dealt with this same issue several times, the most recent being the CFT dyno in Orlando. It's a Mustang Dyno, and people kept coming back from there with these incredibly lofty numbers and swearing that it had not been adjusted to read like a Dynojet. I was bashed by those locals for making "stupid assumptions" like you call them, even though they are based off common sense. Well, luckily, an objective source on a completely separate forum confirmed that people were dyno'ing the same numbers on their Dynojet as they had at the CFT Mustang Dyno. Until that was confirmed, people swore up and down that it had not been modified...and like you, people had asked the owner directly who had claimed that nothing had been changed. So, maybe this car does put down the equivalent of 390-400whp on a Dynojet with just pump gas and basic mods, but it's highly unlikely.

something smells fishy. u know something is wrong when dave has this to say.

It's to the point now, and this is directed at you Sean as you don't own that dyno, that people use the MD to really brag about numbers as everyone knows how low mine is. The problem is half the MD owners I spoke with before buying mine told me to make sure I changed the calibrations or nobody would be happy with the numbers it gave them. Well, I didn't change mine.

On my dyno a good driver making 330 whp will run 11.30's at 124 mph. The numbers this particular dyno just spit out is telling us that with those minimal mods that car is going to break into the 10's at 127 mph. Yeah, right.

May as well refer to that particular MD as a Dynojet.

Very nice curve though which shows regardless of what the fake MD dyno is saying you did a good job on the tune.

There is nothing fishy about it. Sean did not touch the dyno. All he did was tune the car on dyno and the car made more horsepower than it did when it came in. Buschur can say what ever he wants and I could careless.

Sean, once again great tuning on your part. You have my business for sure.

The tune was good

The Curve was good

The Customer was happy

So why does it always have to flame fest on here?

Congrats Sean

There are more important things then to complain about dyno reading high. The only thing that really matters is weather the customer is happy. The Dyno is a tunning tool not the Bible of power.

Happy Holidays to All!!!!!!!!!!
