Well all, I just got rid of my UTEC and had JESTR put a custom reflash in for my current evo IX 20g turbo set-up. And let me tell you it pulls HARD all the way to redline. With a stock spool feel, my car performs like a champ. I am hoping to take it out to the track this week and I will post up some track times! Thanks again to Velocity Factor in Boca Raton for hosting the tune site. And a big thanks to JESTR for his tuning abilities!!!

Was it dyno tuned or on the road?

 

a guy i kno got his evo ix tuned by jester, i had my ix tuned by dynoflash, with the same mods. he traps 108, i trap 113...weird

 

Does this Velocity Factor in Boca Raton have an AWD dyno???

That's all Driver! Trap speed has nothing to do with the tune put it on the Dyno and see what you get. and look at A/F's and so on.

 

No, stay away from that place. For somone else tuning there its fine, but don't do any business with the store itself.

not really true, a driver does slightly effect traps but as long as he shifts fairly quick and doesnt miss a gear traps should be similar. if you roll off the line you can pull the same trap as if you had launched.

 

He is entitled to his opinin here, as we all are, at least he is not bashing them in a childish manner, like some other people here on Evom....
