TurboTrix creates...another MONSTER!

Got back from TurboTrix late friday nite from getting my 50 trim kit tuned. Sorry its taken so long but I've been busy. Hopefully I can get an e-copy of the sheet or maybe just scan it. Graph on page 2.

Overall I'm extremely happy with the car...its like a ****ing rocket. Those who say the stock turbo is the way to go are just pussies.

The car drives smooth as silk, and runs twice as good. This makes the third time I've had them tune my car, and they have done a 200% excellent job every time.

My setup consists of:
Stock 2.0l bottom end
Stock head/valvetrain
HKS 280 i/e cams
AMS FMIC
TurboTrix 50 trim kit
PTE 1000cc injectors
SMC alky
AEM EMS
...rest of the supporting mods.

On pump gas @23psi the numbers were on average, 441whp 354wtq. I was very happy with these numbers, as they were on average for all the other cars.

When it came alky time, the car REALLY woke up. At 30 psi she put down 508whp 448wtq. Highest horsepower 50 trim car yet!

I'VE NEVER SEEN THOSE NUMBERS!!! These guys really know their **** and create top quality products that are PROVEN to make power.

Big thanks to Mark, Mike, Paul, and Keith for helping to make this happen!

This car is really a blast to drive, and I also think it would be no problem on a mountain backroad(already been there..works great ). On alky this thing is a frikken beast. I couldn't be happier!

Those in question for a tuner or a turbo kit, definately call TurboTrix!

I'd love to see a dyno chart when it becomes available.

Where do you hit full boost at with pump gas? I was originally thinking of doing a gt3076, but this is looking better and better all the time.

Really depends on the gear your in. If your in 3rd gear at about 3k rpm, and you floor it....full boost hits right around 37, 38ish. The lag on this turbo is really nothing to be worried about.

I was a little worried about it at first, but hell I don't really notice it now. If you floor it in first you don't really do anything till about 45-4800, but when it hits you better be ready to shift or you will def be bouncing off the rev limiter like instantly.(Not spinning, just accelerating).

The car is almost scary how fast it acclerates, usually when I get on it I want to go through 2-3 gears. You do that in less than 5 seconds it seems. 100mph is only a right foot away..it comes up so damn quick, even on pump gas!

Very awesome numbers - the 50-trims keep impressing.

However, we will base the true full boost point off your dynograph. If you don't hit peak torque until 4500, then that's where you're hitting full boost really. I hit full boost on my stocker at 3800, so it's unlikely that you hit it that early on a 50-trim. IT's just a matter of semantics. We'll see the true spool-up on the dynographs whenever you can post them.

Yeah, 508whp is a 129-130mph trap.

your 23 psi run on pump, was it straight pump no meth? also what octane gas. some use sunco 94 and call it pump but in most states the common is assumed to be 91 or 92 oct. congrats non the less. it took me 27psi and 110 oct to get 441 whp with a 35r. great numbers man.

Hah, no, in most states, 93oct is the assumed pump gas. Backwards *** states use 91, and a few really cool states get 94. Still, though, 91-94 are considered pump.
