Since I have good experiance with FP, I thought I mention this. FP is selling the 10.5cm^2 turbine housing and FP high spring load Wastegate Actuator for $289.00 Just picked me up a set. Not a bad deal at all! Thanks FP.

is the actuator different from the Evo 9, will it help with boost taper like the Forge unit? Any information on it would be helpful!

 

I believe the 9 actuator is different.

The actuator is fitted with a high tension spring and can be manually preloaded. Effect of tapering can be reduced using this or Forges unit. From what I read, the spring is not changeable whereas Forges can be changed. For the money, FP unit seams to be a heck of a deal (as far as WGA go). This unit also keeps the natural finish..not the shiny color of Forges...though you can order a black Forge WGA now.
