i'm another satisfied customer. there was one proble, but it was hotmails fault. for whatever reason hotmail messes up the file really bad. when i flash it onto my ecu my car went crazy until i pulled the negative lead on the battery...then when i turned the ignition on everything was good, but my car wouldn't start. i e-mails jestr about the problem and he had a quick resonce for what happened. he then zipped the file and sent it again. everything worked great. aside from the mamba edition dodge viper i've ridden in...i think my car is the fastest car i've ever been in. the difference in spool up time is insane...such a big difference. couldn't be any happier.

If you have the tactrix cable you get the m1. The m0 is very basic and just removes everything. The the m2 is the same as the m1 but its in person. The m3 is a custom tune

Well, I just reflashed my ECU with Jestr's M1 flash yesterday. Wow! Definitely the best "bang for the buck" mod there is.

Keep up the good work Jestr!

i just replaced my "8 block"(you know who i mean)purchased e-flash map with the jestr M1, and it's definitely smoother powerband with the M1 and much, much cheaper($50). the only thing i prefer about the "8 block" is the raised idle, but that is something i can alter myself in the jestr map, the higher idle is a bit smoother with a polyurethane front mount. jestr M1 FTW!

Probably your best bet is when you send Jestr your file is to send him a log using Evoscan along with the map, do a full 3rd and full 4th gear pull.

the M1 flash is the through the email flash for ECUFlash users with the tactrix cable, i believe the M2 is a standard ECU flash.

Thumbs up

I'll just pile on to the love fest here and say that I'm extremely happy with my Jestr flash. John is indeed a very friendly and knowledgeable guy and it's a pleasure doing business with him.

This is of course in stark contrast to my previous experience where you're afraid to ask any questions for fear of being insulted/talked down to ...

I replaced my base dynoflash with jestr's map and have done extensive logging and analysis of the maps (EcuFlash has created a whole new world of transparency in this industry ...). I can say that subjectively the car feels much smoother throughout the RPM range. I can also say objectively that the logs back this up showing significantly less knock (I'd be more than happy to post logs if anyone cares ...). Additionally, the MIVEC map is very different between the two flashes and the car feels more responsive at throttle tip-in in the midrange with John's tuning.

Nothin but love for John ... great guy, great tune, great price ...

On a slight tangent ... I must say that EcuFlash has completely changed the game and leveled the playing field. No longer can people pretend to be experts just because they have tools that no one else does ... The veil has been lifted and the light of transparency is a huge win for consumers here ...

OK guys you have me convinced,

I am wanting to get a eflash from jestr. So far from what I read, I need the tatrix cable,
download ecu flash, download or purchase some sort of datalogging, datalog my current
base, email that to jestr and 50 dollars for a M1 flash. Then upload flash. Is this correct?

Is there a way to keep my stock flash incase I have to revert and what datalogging do
you guys recommend? I see alot about evoscan. Is this a better program then say
pocket logger? I appreciate any information or threads to read. Thanks guys.
