Well, yeah, that's what we've been saying and is why it's not cool for people to post ridiculous dyno numbers and boast about them until they've backed it up with track verification. I honestly expected this car to trap 116-117 and be quite fast, but 113 is a joke. Either way, neither result would be close to proving 435whp, which was just ridiculous anyway...

I've been following this thread since it started and am glad this got resolved. I was accually hoping this car would produce a time slip to verify the dyno numbers. That would have been a great accomplishment, and maybe people could learn of this tuning wizardry. BUT.. it seems it was an attempt to inflate numbers to gain business, and I'm glad EvoM called them out, Warrtalon, imparticular took a lot of sh*t for it. I definatly commend you (Warrtalon) for that, as I'm sure you've persuaded some potential customers to look elswhere and from believing thier car is making these outrageous hp numbers. So good job!
So, are these uncorrected numbers, on an uncalibrated dyno?
What could a tuner do to inflate numbers like this?

hey warrtalon i got a question for u. in regards to suspension coilovers or springs does that play a part in ur track times and if so, what approximately would be the difference. stock versus coilovers or springs.

Not really. You can have a completely awful alignment or something and have trouble launching while not being quite as fast, and you can customize a suspension to make it optimum for drag racing, but it's a rare thing to deal with for 99% of people racing Evos. This car cut a great 60' anyway, so there didn't seem to be an issue. All of my racing has been with stock suspension.

I was there hoping to see the car run while i was there but i think he was leaving as i was coming down the road if it was a white ix. I trapped 117 that day in my full weight ix.

to those who are concerned, i am just as concerned as u, however englishtown is closed for the year, i really dont feel like taking the trip to atco just to prove what my car can do. futhermore i did not build my car to prove to anybody what it can do, the dyno peaks for itself. however i will try my best to make it to atco. if not then it is what it is. owner and driver.
