for some strange reason i have never seen my car taper more than 2pds, it holds boost and thats according to my autometer boost gauge.

with just a reflashed tuned for 93 octane, would running 22psi give me any worries about detontation? i want to try and avoid meth (i just dont know how hard the isntall is, and pretty much dont know anoything about it or how it works.) too.

SHIFTT, 22psi on 93oct is normal, everyday operation for every Evo. We are not talking about that - we are talking about a highly unlikely 435whp/435wtq on stock cams with basic mods. If and when it traps 122mph, I'll believe it, but until then, I highly doubt it. When Paul was at TurboTrix, no car he tuned came close to this on their Dynojet, and they go extremely aggressive with boost, AFRs, and timing on cars with meth. Hell, even their own $3k TD06 20g kit made only this much WHP and much less WTQ on alky with 30+psi and cams on an VIII...

22psi on 93 octane may be normal for those with a modified Evo and the boost set higher than the factory 19.8-20.3psi, but not "normal for every Evo".

I concur that 122 is not going to happen on stock cams.
