Vishnu Test Pipe (Cat-delete) Sound too loud for streets?

I am interested in using a Vishnu Test Pipe (Cat-delete pipe) to make that last 15-20 hp extra after a Stage 1 tune.

Does anyone out there use this pipe on a regular basis?

How loud is this thing really?

Will I get pulled over by the cops for having too loud of an exhaust note?

Thanks

I believe the sound will be dependent of what cat back system your using,,,I have the magnaflow BR catback with ttp test pipe and could not be happer with the sound...although here in FL I could run with a open downpipe and not get pulled over for the exhaust sound...they will just pull me over for looking suspicious...lol

I have a one off test pipe and when i put it on the car it sounded crazy if you live in a state where the cops are on the look out for this i wouldnt get it. Just one less thing to worry about. I have fl plates and live in chicago and ive been pulled over a few times and they cant do nothing about it they just try to nail me for other things and they still cant i love it. Unless i really break a law.

Figure it adds 10-20 HP with whatever system you have now and it will also ad 5-10 DB with whatever system you have now.

Test Pipe

I have a test pipe on my Evo and it's still quiet unless you're at WOT. However, the fumes are intense especially when you pull into the garage with your turbo timer running..!! I'm not sure how much power you get vs a high flow cat....

for the people who are running these test pipes, is the power increase noticable and where in the power band do you really feel the increase, low high or mid rev?

It's much more apparent on big turbo kits than it is on the stock turbo. If you could feel it, it would be at the upper end of the power band where max air is flowing.
