Yes you have to file the claim in San Diego county. If the small claims trial is ruled in your favor, getting the judgement enforced is not too difficult. You can put a lien on his real property, personal property, and business assets:

You may also "garnish" the debtor's wages:

You can collect against wages of his spouse or domestic partner (should he have one):

You can collect directly from his bank accounts, or property/money in safe deposit boxes at the bank:

You can get a seizure order, which allows a Sheriff to take things directly from his home:

Etc, etc. There are many ways to collect your debts. And if he wants to play hard ball, so be it.

got my "budget" exh. from them a while back had no prob getting it except i got in in saran wrap with a bit a$$ dent in the muffler and exh all scratched up but iam not one to make a fuss so i just put it on and after a year later the welds on all the hangers broke just about off the exh., leaked from every exh. hanger and they rusted to. Oh i forgot i got the o2 housing from them too when i put it on the o2 housing bung broke off as i tightened the o2 sensor. thats my exspericence with them, do i need to say more
