I was hoping to see stronger numbers for a 9 with cossy cams and turbo kit, but tuning technologies does amazing work so I know there wasn't anything left untouched.

Hard to justify $4000 for 40 whp , even if it is on 91 I want stronnnngg 91 octane numbers.

Bump for race gas tune and
Bump for tuning tech !

Should have gotten the TT TBE instead and also AMS FMIC instead of Greddy.

While u were there, should had opted for the Nisei UICP or AMS or should have had Al make a custom one for u.

Anyways, good luck on ur 2.3 build in the winter

Those are good # for 91 a lot of people think cosi cams give you alot of power they don't give power like cams for the 8

My mods for the ix

Apexi intake
Hallman mbc 23 psi
Cosi cams
Rsr dp
Fujitsubo catback

I put down 340 whp 346 tq on a dynojet I know my catback is holding me back a little it has to resenators and very quiet I'm happy

The UICP is really only useful for getting rid of boost leaks and to keep hoses from blowing off.

yeah the greddy is actually the WORST intercooler available for the Evo. It has shown an actual LOSS in whp over the stock unit. It's that bad. Go AMS FMIC and get a tune, I bet you pick up 20+ WHP

With a tune and proper airflow I beg to differ. A proper FMIC especially on a turbo such as the GT35R can make or break a setup. The AMS FMIC is by far and away the superior FMIC. The Greddy is sub OEM in terms of cooling. The Stock FMIC generates a 2+ PSI pressure drop and heats up quickly. The AMS FMIC has less then 1 PSI of pressure loss and simply doesn't overheat with a GT35R or smaller turbo. That added boost back from the pressure loss alone could be as much as 20WHP not even factoring in the colder more dense air.

The Greddy FMIC is still Tube and Fin design like the OEM unit, the AMS is bar and plate and much, much more efficient.

@ 91 octane you would be 425-440. Higher octane, I wouldn't know since we only get 91 in Cali, but I just saw a 2.4L - GT35 make 483 awhp, 430 tq on 91 @ 25 psi. BTW guys meth is here .

Look to get 550WHP on meth. You have teh turbo and the supporting mods to do that.
