Actually an intake manifold will not help the spoolup, it will help topend though.

How was the boost set? Did you log your boost or did Alfred eyeball it on the gauge and someone else fiddled with the MBC?

I ask because on my friend's car (that Alfred could not tune) Alfred said that he set the boost to 21 psi, but when I logged the boost it was set @ 22.95 psi and this was an AVERAGE number of three back-to-back runs. This was on 91 octane.

I am actually gonna aim for 475 whp on pump(hopefully). I don't want to break 500 whp because thats when the problems are gonna happen *gulp. But I will tune for race gas, just to see what #'s I can achieve.

Alfred is a great tuner and Tuning Tech. is a great shop. Don't want to argue, to each his own.

But how was your boost set? Did Alfred use a gauge or did he log your boost? That is the question that I asked. Why are you avoiding it?

My boost was logged on my dyno graph. I'll post it later when I get my meth installed so I can show straight 91 and 91+meth. It says 22.95 psi @ 422 whp.

I am confused. When you say "my dyno graph" is that the one producde by the dynojet @ TT. The way the dynojet software displays boost is the same way it displays AFR, ie, there is a line that goes left to right that indicates boost increase and then decline. Do you have such a line on your gragh along with the AFR line? Or is it just a number display?

If anything it would INCREASE spool since it is larger volume it takes more time to fully compress it.
