Slightly OT... does the Race front mount have the same configuration on the hot side (as in pipe enters backside of end tank instead of traditional cores/pipes that connect on the ends)? Thinking about getting the Race core but don't feel like shelling out for another LICP.
The race core has the piping entering from the side. Click on the link at the top of the first post for my review of the race core, it has lots of pictures and my review.

wow! Mine was off a little but no where near that bad. Overall I would say mine fit well. I did have to modify the mounting brackets with a dremel but that wasnt too bad.
+1, now have you fixed your friends Deluxe core better after Nick's recommendations??

I have the BR Deluxe and had the stock uicp at the time of install and it fit pretty well overall. I mean with anything aftermarket you should expect to make it fit but it wasnt too bad. Not like these pics portray.

man i had the exact same problem as you with my deluxe ic, and im still trying to straighten everything out!! i have a leak from it and i just recived my upper ic pipe, im so hoping that fixes everything!
