I'm in the same boat. Ever thought about grabbing an Aquamist kit? Heard there failsafe is great.

For sure, thats the thing making me want to grab the Aquamist. They seem to have the best failsafe in the market.

well smc gaskets and valves tend to wear out, not that i have any experiance but i just gather that much for posts on here, and they are supposed to be coming out with a new snow kit with a good failsafe

I have an Aquamist kit and I think it is the only way to go. It is by far the most sophisticated system on the market. The failsafe is very advanced and gives you a lot of control and really always you to install meth injection safely. The SMC kit has NO failsafe, sure it has an led to tell you its spraying but that is worthless. The snow kit is not bad but they are currently out of stock on their failsafe. It is a nice kit but just not as advanced as the Aquamist.

There is a group buy going on for the Aquamist HFS-1, it is going for a great price now. I bought my HFS-5 during the group buy and I urge you all to take a very good look here

Sure it is a bit more money then some other kits but you will not regret your decision to spend a bit more for the best there is.

Meth/alky is not a good area to go cheap.

it might appear at 1st glance that the aquamist system is more pricey than other WAI systems out there, but take a closer look

the system consist of 2 parts:
a very well engineered water injection system PLUS a highly advanced flow sensing failsafe system.

buy a smc or buy a snow, add a good failsafe to it - you will realise that it will cost you as much.

i would recommend snow to you since i bought their kit with safe injection...but close to 3 months ago i along with a few other members sent them back a faulty safe injection unit that wasnt compatible with meth and so far nothing..dan himself has blocked me from aim and has ignored my pms. so id go smc or aquamist since their customer service is better, if i were you.

the safe inject is nothing but a single setpoint low flow switch - it will only work if the system sudddenly goes dead, but this is not the case, most time clogged nozzle and failing pump lose pressure and flow over time. too late if you run a big nozzle and time for trigger to activate...a false sense of security

the 2 failsafes that really work is the flow sensing aquamist dds3 and the zeitronix zt2 (afr, egt).
