2006 Evo IX AMS Tune Results

Hey guys, finally got my car done at AMS. Would like to thank Eric, Santiago, Chris and the whole bunch for doing a wonderful job. I was tuned for the following:

AMS TBE w/Test Pipe
AMS FMIC
Hallman MBC
HKS Drop-in
AMS LICP
23 PSI on 93 Octane
And of course, the power adding AMS decals

Exhaust sounds incredible and the car feels like a different beast now.

I know people like sound and video clips, so I'll try to get some later on of both.

It was a hot day, not sure what is meant by low at 3500rpm? It almost has peak torque at the engine speed. Anyway, I'd rather have it tuned a little conservative rather than maxed out. I decided to go with the FMIC because I got a new one unused for $200 less than retail, plus I plan on getting cams and other parts later, so it seemed like a good deal. Not every dyno is going to read the exact same, temp. humidity and a lot of other factors come in to play.

Who cares about peak numbers. Your mid rang tq and hp have increased tremendously I would much prefer the big gains to be in the mid range where you spend most of the time than big gaudy peak numbers. I bet your car feels like night and day from before the tune
