boostpro.net boost leak tester
I finally got around to ordering a boost leak tester from boostpro.net. I ordered the gauged boost leak tester with tire valve directly from the site ($20 +4.60 shipping ) and it arrived about 4 days later very well packaged. Quality is top notch.
Since the diameter of the tester is 3 inches, i had to find a 3 inch - 2.5 inch id reducer. I went to lowes and found a reducer from american valve which cost around 5.99 (included worm clamps). With the tester attached to my turbo, i used my air compressor to pressurize the system. The gauge that boostpro uses is easy to read and allows me to do a boost leak test without having to run and check my boost gauge.
For anyone that doesnt want to make a $5 tester i highly reccomend this product. I was going to make my own but decided that for the price, and money back gaurantee it was worth it.
