thanks for the review, I was considering this as an option for track days and to lose some weight up front! The weight savings and repositioned radiator hose is worth the $$ IMO!

the slim line fan looks rather close to the intake plumbing to the turbo, any problems on rubbing or are the pics deceiving?

The setup we have on our car doesn't have a rubbing issue. I also tested out our previous shorter intake setup with the filter closer to the radiator and everything seemed to work. Now that's not to say that all intakes will work because we really didn't test fit every available intake setup out there with this radiator. Judging by the amount of clearance though, I would be surprised if something were to rub.

$455.00 for the radiator with the hose and clamps.

$550.00 for the radiator with the hose and clamps with the fan already mounted.

CB - is there a way to run that slim line fan on the stock radiator.

I am looking to save weight but I don't need an after market radiator. I believe the stock rad and fan are each nearly 10lbs.

What is the weight of your rad, what about your fan?

Thanks.

How much of the weight savings was from losing the stock fan? Because the stock radiator itself isn't very heavy.

you can run one, they come with a mounting kit that goes through the stock core. youd would probably lose 5-6 lbs.

ill have to measure them back to back again, i dont have it in front of me... most of our rads now have the fans already mounted on them, because thats how people want them.

If you would be able to get the weight of your new rad and fan separately that would be awesome.

this sounds like pretty good way to shed weight off the very front end of the car, and its pretty cheap too.

Hey check out your original weight thread, I made a new post.
