Nice write up. Two questions though. Why does it say "Author: Ali Allage", then under the first image it says: "By John Gadd" ????

Also how much was the kit and do you guys feel it offers a (Ok, Average, Great or Excellent) value for the $ spent?

What is the pedal pressure feel like? I.e. is it like stock or heavy like the ACT? Basically - would you have a sore ankle after stop and go traffic?

We have been using Fidanza products for YEARS and have been pleased with their products and quality. Customer service has always been top notch unlike another clutch line that we dropped a little while back.

The Fidanza clutches are a good alternative for a cheaper clutch. I know you normally see Buschur Racing backing and promoting Exedy and Tilton because they are great units as well but we also realize some people can not spend that kind of money on a clutch for their car so the cheaper alternative I normally sell is Fidanza as they do shift well, engagement / disengagement doesnt seem to be an issue, pedal pressure isnt all that bad and if there is an issue they have good customer service to help you out with any problem you may have.

Customers have given me good feedback and were pleased with my recommendation of the clutch and flywheel for their Evolution.

Buschur Racing will be running a special on Fidanza clutches and flywheels starting today for 2 weeks only. I will post a link to the thread shortly.

I just published the article and John was the one who wrote it. Since he reviewed the clutch I'll make sure he gets on to answer everyone's questions.

what would the longevity of this clutch be compared to a exedy stage 1 or something similar?

of course longevity is often user controlled, but with that said you should be able to get years if service out of it daily driving, some track runs, spirited driving etc... just be sure to pick out the level that best fits your car and not just the numbers and you should be good for a long time.

I'm the writer

I believe MSRP on the kit is in the 980 dollar range. I'm not sure what the average street price is, but I feel this clutch represents a great value for the money.

I'm not a big boy (6'0, 160lbs), but even after sitting in hours of Tampa gridlock, I've never had an issue with the pedal pressure. Its very similar to stock. I've had no joint aches or anything

I haven't noticed any new or unusual drivetrain noises since the installation, no. Actually, it got a little quieter

In my experience, the largest factor in clutch longevity is driving habits. I don't foresee anything with this clutch that might cause it to wear out any faster than any other brand.

Jarrod at buschur sells them all for way under $700 each I believe. Check with him though, he is running a special on them too and the flywheels. As seen above

Cool, thanks for the clarification. I review products for a living, and that is one of the major things consumers ask me. Great write up, now i just need to hurry up and wear out this stocker
