GSC S2's on stock turbo "yeah I did it"

I know that many will say those are too aggressive for the stock turbo.

The peaks didn't change by much but dang does it hold power to redline.

This is the only change I made since adding the ETS FMIC.

Big to GSC for making some bada$$ cams.

I bought these used so no vendor to thank there.

And now for the dll graph, remember I am not interested in saying wow I have X hp but that I am interested in the differences in the graph from the basline.

As you can see, I hold the power out to redline a lot better now.

This finally confirms what my butt dyno has been telling me.

A big thank you to Mellon for putting up with me during the tuning for these cams.

huge gains by redline that's nice...I knew it felt much stronger on the big end. I think those will compliment the next turbo upgrade nicely.

haha I can't believe you didn't pick up on it when I said "yeah it's got a bad spark plug"

there was too many people around that didn't need to know what was under the hood yet.

Yeah I totally let that one get by me. I haven't been around Brad's car enough to know for certain there was a difference. Just the way you two looked at each other and smirked when I asked if anything had changed since the FMIC upgrade. I love how people were making excuses for why they didn't cross the line first in both of your cases Fri night.

How's the car idle? I know with the S1's they are pretty quiet. How do they compare to the cosworth's?

Not a chance.

These things have over 11mm of lift.

I got the springs and retainer kit from BR.

His idle is very lumpy but solid as a rock, no stumbles or dips, sounds evil!

yep, that's a good idea we could get a shot of my HKS 280's and your GSC S2's to let people know what to expect.

So you have the stock ecu to according to your mod list. That right? Just curious cuz I got S2s with the stock turbo and ecu. At low idle sometimes the rpms can drop pretty low but they usually recover. If I hit boost in first and push the clutch in, it likely will die out. It is not a big deal cuz I love these cams overall and refused to have the stockers put back in. Nice numbers btw .

That is a correct assesment of how these cams will react to that.

But in normal daily driving I never do that.
