YOU (original thread poster) SAID you knew it was cheap .....and we ALL know in general price affects quality.....

well if you buy a $300+ piece for $130- what the fack do you expect?!

Its like buying a facking HYUNDAI and expecting it to be an EVO!

Maybe you should have a hyundai if your going to be so cheap on parts.....its a $30k car...dont nickel and dime it with parts!

You're trying to return it after you drilled out the manifold? Even when they get it back, bet they use that as an arguement not to refund you.

Ouch! Painful lesson.

I agree. However, the less bends, the better. And also, I've seen 3" pipe with bogus hangers and bogus fit.

Alot of times, I'd be paying for better fit, and less bends.

Once again I will ask the question....

WHY BUY AN 30-35K CAR AND PUT S**TY PARTS ON IT

OH YAH, HAVE WE NOT HEARD THE EXPRESSION "YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR?"

Sorry about your loss but hopefully it will save 2-3 more from making the same mistake

^the thing is there exhaust parts such as manifolds and O2 housings are not the best, but things like fmic and stuff like that has been fine for alot of people. I run the XS power fmic simply cause I wanted to see how it works and so far its been pressure tested fine and works great for a stock turbo car and people have made 400-500 on this same fmic. Everyone should know that their exhaust parts are trash though. I hear their actually exhaust systems are fine, but I would never buy one as I want something that sounds good, and isnt just cheap.

I have had some very bad experience with SS Autochrome. I was ordering 10 of their o2 housings at a time for a while and having them coated. I think it was my 3rd batch I got back from the coater and they changed the design of the o2. The o2 sensor placement had moved and caused a slight interference. They said they never changed the design. I sent them pictures of both housings. Again saying they never changed the design...I couldn't believe the crap I went through. Never got my money back or straightened out the deal. I will never do business with them again. Any company that does not have a phone number tells me something...
