A couple of questions!!
Hi!
A couple of questions!
1. Did you have to cut/grind/hammer the crash bar to get the I/C fit?
2. Did you have to cut the undertray? I noticed that it has been cut but not sure if it was done for your previous I/C.
3. Seems that you have an ETS kit. What kit is it? 30R, 35R, etc
4. Any noticeable additional lag with the I/C instal?

4" is huge.............but having a 61mm T3 helps spool up all that air. I'm sure he would have been fine with a 3.5".
I recommend only a 3" IC if your keeping the stock turb. I noticed a little lag with my 3.5"

Thank you Wicked E and Monty for answering all the questions while I was on the road for the past 7 1/2 hours. There is no additional lag or pressure drop with the new intercooler. From what I can tell/feel, it flows reallly well. This kit is 100% bolt on. There is no cutting or grinding of anything. All you need are those two washers that I displayed in the review and that is it. I am 99.9% sure that Tom and ETS will be providing everyone that orders one of these new kits with these washers to make it an effortless install for their customers. This intercooler is awesome, and yes, it will complement my future plans very nicely.
