I can't speak specifically about the sub frames, but Nelson (the guy who owns the car this was built for) is mostly concerned with straight tracks and dynos. I don't believe he has built any of his cars for road coursing.

400lbs off is a huge huge cut in weight. This is also weight at the polar ends of the car... hard to put a price on that sort of upside.
Is this for a drag car? The front geometry doesn't look exactly like a road race car and that would be my focus.
For track hounds a front subframe with improved pick up points and custom control arms would be a great way to improve both geometry and cut weight off the heavy end of the car getting it closer to 50/50.
