I highly doubt its 410whp on pump. C16 plus much more aggressive timing and almost 10lbs of boost more on the race map will add ALOT more than just 40-50hp. I would gather probably 370-380whp on pump with almost equal torque which is still alot. That is damn impressive for a 20g on an VIII. Have you ever thought about more aggressive cams maybe, like S1, Cosworth, different type of 272's? I would suspect with that type of boost I bet another 10-15whp could be gathered out of more aggressive cams. Also what does your boost hold at that RPM?

Manie, I'm very happy for you bro... I hope to be one of the first to get a ride when you get your meth installed. Great review as always, and glad to see you left nothing out! I feel lucky to have been able to feel your car on "low" boost when you were trying to get rid of that extra pump gas The car is a beast on pump gas and even more so on C-16. Lets go to the track on Wednesday bro

Racefuel + 10lbs of more boost only equals 40whp??? I would thinkg more about 60-70whp more and about 100wtq at this level. I am definately no tuning expert like you guys but I highly doubt this car is breaking 400whp on pump with his mods (unless on certain unnamed dynos)...especially on the less agressive cams he is running. Not to take away from anything because those are spectacular numbers. I have yet to see really anybody post legit 400whp on pump with a green...especially on VIII's. Not saying it can't be done...its just very very hard to do it.

My Evo VIII has allways performed very well, even with the small 9.8 Hotside stock 16G. With that set up, it was making 369 hp and 385 Tq on CFT Mustang Dyno at 30 psi with a mix of 93 and C16. It went 11.8@116+ mph like that. Back 2 1/2 years ago in 95 degree weather.
It is very strong on pump 93 with the 20G-LT at 25.4 psi peak boost now.
It is not an average Evo VIII. Not saying that because is my car, but because it has been proven time after time at Street, Drag Strip and Dyno.
400 hp on pump ? Who knows.
I enjoy it alot on pump. But, I have never been interested on pump gas numbers.
I know that when I put race fuel in it, and race it, there are very few cars out there that can beat it from a dig.
I will most likely change the Cams, if I go later with a bigger Turbo. That is months down the road.
Right now, the car is never lost a Race with this set-up. It runs great.
It will peak at 37 psi in 4th gear now on Race Fuel, and hold 25.7 psi at 7,850 rpms (460 ft lbs of torque).
This Dyno run was done in 3rd gear, peaking between 33~35 psi, holding 24.8 psi of boost at 7, 780 rpms.

Manie, I have followed your reviews since you first purchased the turbo. After alot of home work it was a no brainer what turbo I wanted for my personal goals. I have things already in motion and my car will be undergoing a complete change within the next few months so stay tuned. I hope to be as happy as you with my build 400 hp on 93, Scott will get a crack at it
