Just wondering how much it will cost (approximately) to get a new clutch and have it installed? I went to my dealer and he quoted me $1200. Is it just me, or does that seem a bit high for a stock clutch and labor? If possible, can someone link a good shop that will do this?

Thats typical dealer pricing...You could possibly buy your own clutch at a cheaper price and then lower that total cost a tad...Or you could go to some mechanic that you trust...or drive down to the nearest tuner...

thats about right.....even if you buy an aftermarket clutch... which you should to hold more power in the future or if u dont intend on modding....butt...any good shop will charge 650 for an install. opy where are you from in jersey?

Most shops will charge 550-650 for a clutch install. I'm not sure how much a stock cluch goes for but you have many options for reasonable prices if you dont plan on modding the car and need something a little more hardcore.

Dealership charged me $800 here in ct. They did a great job though, no complaints.
