Thank You DTM!!!!

I Finally got my car back from DTM and all I can say is WOW! The ran runs like a beast. To make a long story kinda short, I had a SBR 2.1L that was built for Curt Brown and wile it lasted me about 25k miles it was getting ready to go on me. I took the car in for a twin scroll turbo kit and got a complete build. Needless to say I ended up with a complete DTM build.

DTM 2.3L Motor
DTM Race Ported Head
DTM Twin Scroll Turbo Kit (37r)
DTM LICP

This is a step down from my GT40R kit. The car pulls harder now with the smaller twin scroll set up than it did with the 40R. It also has no lag between shifts and climbs up faster than I can shift the freaking thing.

I want to thank Nick and the DTM crew for having taken care of me and my car. I also want to thank Nick for the extra parts and exceptional service. The car put down 460 on DTM's Mustang Dyno and 400 tq. on pump gas...

Here is the corrected Dyno Sheet:

Nick is a great tuner and a cool guy. You have a beast.

I've wondered what "Filter value" means. I've seen different numbers on different Mustang charts.

Didn't ISP have your car before? I remember seeing a yellow small wing there with the sbr motor and 40r about 10 months ago.

Good numbers on pump but very laggy for a 37r with 2.3 and all that head work done.

On the street is not laggy at all. The lag on the dyno is because of the 10 psi waste gate spring. Once I change the spring, the spool up should be in the 4700 range on the streets... but like I said it does NOT feel laggy at all. I put 570 on ISP's Dyno on race gas on the 40R. I remeber you put down 526 before or after you threw the rod. I can tell you that my car pulls harder now on pump gas than when it put down 570 on race on their dynojet... imagine that.

Spool on a soft spring is surprisingly quick. I can't wait to see it with a 20lbs spring in the wastegate.

This definitely wasn't an off the shelf setup. DTM has already trumped his old setup on pump with less mods.

add a stiff spring... some race gas... This is one quick evo.

Maybe add an AEM to the mix... who knows... so many options!

Turbo isn't exactly a 37r. It's another one of our custom hybrids. Needless to say it can flow a bit more than a 37r. Once Nory gets the spring in the wastegate fixed, it will hit harder and even faster but judging from the grin that was on his face when he came back from a test drive I don't think he will really need it.

I love how people always make snide comments about other people's cars and dyno numbers when they themselves never even got their car to run properly and have fun with it. I betcha Nory has been having a blast the last two days. I'd love to see what his car puts down on a dynojet on pump gas only. Betcha it's pretty close to his race gas numbers.
