I'm able to do this on the any Evo or Lancer. Red, White, or Blue. I can make it a complete plug and play item, with nothing seen but the led and the switch. Its a pain in the *** for me to make so its plug and play. The only thing is to install it, people need patience. Routing the wiring through the hood isnt hard, just a little time consuming. I even include stainless wire to pull the wires thru the hood.

I dont know if I should make some.

Led, wiring, switch, metal pulling wire, ziptie, wire ends, D/s tape, and complete install instructions with pics.








I will be using black wire as to not see it when routed out of the hood. I didnt have any when I made this one.

This would be great if something happens at night so u can actually see what your doing.. interested.

 

I am assuming it shuts off when you close the hood? If not is the switch manual to turn it on and off?

Really sweet idea though. Would be useful if I am not home and it is night time. I will definitely be adding this to my list of things to buy for my car.

I have it on a switch on the fuse box.. A hood pin was too much of a pain.
