did this customer switch from a 2.3 to a 2L? (judging from the screen name)

Thanks everyone.

Yes, he switched from the 2.3 to the 2.0. He is running a stock gear ratio and with the speeds/hp he is shooting for I told him the RPM limits of the stroker were not going to cut it. That's why he went with the higher reving 2 liter.

Hey Dave,
Any thoughts/feedback on a 2.3 stroker with modded final drive?
I would love to see you tune an hta35r with that combo!

wise choice on de-stroking for sure, he's likely going to need the extra RPM to keep from making an additional shift, very important in drag racing.

The 2.3 liter with the final drive change and this same turbo has produced the highest WHP numbers on pump gas ever on our dyno actually. That belongs to evolunchbox.

I'd have liked to tuned this car on the HTA35r too.

David, I tell ya, these pump gas monsters are making me anxious for the shorty/head to arrive...is there any way you could just slow down on these threads for a bit?
